​My name is Vicky Makri and I am a graduate of the Psychology Department at Cardiff Metropolitan University. I also hold a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Utrecht University in the Netherlands. Currently, I am training in Person-Centered & Focusing Psychotherapy at the Hellenic Focusing Center.

Since 2022, I have been working privately as a psychotherapist, conducting therapy sessions with adults in both Greek and English, online and in person.

I completed my clinical internship at the Psychiatric Hospital of Athens "Dromokaiteio" as a Clinical Psychologist in the short-term hospitalization unit for psychotic patients. At the same time, I volunteered as a psychologist at the Solidarity Social Clinics Network of the 18ANO association.

Continuing my volunteer work, I facilitate group meetings for individuals with Asperger’s syndrome at the Hellenic Asperger’s Association. Additionally, I participate in the Prolipsis – Friendship at Every Age program providing telephone companionship to elderly individuals.
